Mike Takahashi is senior manager of digital at The Walt Disney Company. He is an award-winning leader and creative problem solver with over 14 years of multi-functional accomplishments in product management, digital marketing, strategic planning, governance, and technology.
Before joining The Walt Disney Company, Mike was the associate director of digital for the branding and marketing of UCLA, where he oversaw ucla.edu and the university's main institutional social media channels. He led the restructuring and growth of UCLA's social media presence with the creation of UCLA's first ever social media guidelines and was responsible for the rise of UCLA's Facebook page, which became the #2 nationally ranked university page in the west.
Mike is a frequent panelist and invited speaker (TED, CASE, UCLA), who has achieved industry recognition for his work and collaboration of digital initiatives. He holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics - computer science from the University of California, San Diego and an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business.
